Thor – oder wie heißt eigentlich der entsprechende finnische Gott? – sei Dank!
Thor - or whatever the equivalent Finnish God is called - thank you!
- Jan Kobrzinowski
*The Arctic: record of the month, June 2019, Jazzthetik*
BERGHÄLL TRIALITY
Joakim Berghäll, baritone saxophone, bass clarinet
Kalle Kalima, guitar, VI string guitar bass
Kari Ikonen, piano, Moog synthesizer
”The Arctic” is something I composed, because I felt a great need to wake people up about climate change.
The change is dramatic, but not as dramatic yet anywhere else than in the Arctic. It is a dark four-movement suite
for baritone saxophone, bass clarinet, Moog synthesizer, prepared piano, electric guitar and 6-string guitar bass.

Album of The Month
”The Antarctic” is the obvious sequel - but this time Berghäll Triality is relying on collective improvisation.
